Communications: RCS & SMS Messages
How the EFPRP Communicates Safely With the Community
At the European Fire Prevention & Rural Preservation Organization (EFPRP), we use modern and secure messaging channels — including Rich Communication Services (RCS) and SMS — to keep communities informed, safe, and connected.
Our goal is to ensure that every message is trusted, transparent, and respectful of your privacy.
1. Our Commitment to Safe Communication
EFPRP’s messaging systems are designed to:
- Protect your privacy: We never share or sell contact information.
- Deliver only relevant updates: We send messages about fire prevention, safety alerts, and verified community programs.
- Provide full control: Every message includes a simple way to opt out or manage your preferences.
All communications follow GDPR standards and our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are RCS and SMS Messages?
| Channel | Description | Example Use |
|---|---|---|
| RCS (Rich Communication Services) | A next-generation messaging service (similar to WhatsApp or iMessage) that supports images, buttons, and verified sender IDs. | Fire risk alerts, donation campaigns, or interactive safety guides. |
| SMS (Short Message Service) | Standard text-only messages used when RCS isn’t available. | Emergency warnings or urgent notices. |
You can recognize EFPRP messages by the verified sender name and logo when RCS is enabled on your device.
